Curry 'n' Shotgun Clay Pigeon Shoot

We hosted the Curry 'n' Shotgun charity clay pigeon shoot in December in order to help raise money for Coping with Cancer North East. We had a great group of 30 people turn up to shoot 30 clays in challenging winter conditions.
With breakfast and lunch supplied at The Causey Arch Inn everyone had a fantastic day and helped raise more than £130 for the charity.
Pork Pie and Pump Action Clay Pigeon Shoot

We came up with another themed shooting event idea in January and starting geting everything together to host the Pork Pie and Pump Action Clay Pigeon Shoot.
The day went very well, with The Causey Arch Inn providing breakfast and the pork pie lunch. 25 people took part, and with professional coaching from our team everyone hit more clays than they expected.
The weather made things interesting as the winds were gusing up to 20mph! Despite the conditions everyone took away a great appreciation of shooting and the safety aspects involved.
Labrador And Friends Fundraising

The team from the Labrador And Friends Fundraising club enjoyed great weather and conditions at the end of May for a Curry 'n' Shotgun clay pigeon shoot.
18 people took part and everyone managed to hit plenty of clays with the winner getting a very good 24 from 30!
After the shoot everyone went back to The Causey Arch Inn where a buffet style meal of two different currys was prepared.
Ladies Only Clay Pigeon Shoot with Afternoon Tea

A fantastic group of ladies took part in a ladies only clay pigeon shoot with afternoon tea at The Causey Arch Inn.
The weather help up and we had great shooting conditions for the 16 people who came to test their abilites. Most of the group had never shot before, but with the coaching from North East Shooting everyone hit plety of clays with the high gun getting a very good 19 from 25.
After the shoot everyone headed back to The Causey Arch Inn for a lovely spread of cakes, scones and sandwiches.
